Synopsis

Son toutou écorché dans les bras, Timothé se promène seul et triste. Il s’arrête devant une vitrine où des lutins s’affairent à préparer les cadeaux de Noël. Un lutin aperçoit la scène et donne l’ordre d’adapter la production. Timothé reçoit la jolie tuque avec une oreille d’ourson attachée et son sourire s’illumine. Nous sommes dans un monde irréel, un conte de Noël où tout est possible. L’animation est de style stop motion, les personnages sont en bois et en feutrine et les machines sont en carton.

With his broken teddy bear in his arms, he stops in front of a window where elves are busy preparing Christmas presents. An elf sees the scene and gives the order to adjust the production. Timothé receives the pretty toque with a teddy bear ear attached and his smile lights up. We are in an unreal world, a Christmas tale where anything is possible.

The animation is stop motion style, the characters are made of wood and felt and the machines are made of cardboard.

Inspirations

Les grandes vitrines du temps des fêtes et les ateliers de lutin nous ont inspiré un univers à la fois féérique et minimaliste.

The large windows of the holiday season and the elf workshops inspired us to create a universe that is both magical and minimalist.

Nous avons même travaillé avec des machines IA pour faire du brainstorming. De grandes idées en sont ressorties. Les mots-clés que nous avons utilisés : fenêtre, Noël, arbre, cyberpuck, robot, machine, photoréaliste, etc.

We even worked with AI machines to brainstorm. Some great ideas came out of it. The keywords we used: window, Christmas, tree, cyberpuck, robot, machine, photorealistic, etc.
